Coffee Shop on a Friday Morning
In attendance: Rat, 2 employees, guy on a laptop, lady eating ice cream and drinking coffee from another coffee shop.
Minor disagreement about the price of an item clearly displayed as a special. Quickly settled.
Lightly cooked items served up in a reasonable amount of time considering it's a college-student employing facility and not a 5-generation diner. Actual food items also reasonable under the circumstances.
Barbecue sauce unavailable. Motion made to go with ketchup. Motion passed unanimously.
Coffee served in 16 ounce Martha Stewart-looking mug. Beverage itself was candy-tasting as though the creamer was flavored. Employee apologized for making it too light.
Internet access flawless.
Financial report: $7 including tip.

Voke students on the Aiken St Bridge arts projects
They would like to redo the silhouettes.
This is an on-going project
The bridge has 126 images
During a recent field trip they were able to save some of the original paintings by retouching them. Others had to be painted over.
This works towards VICA for the students.
The Voke was encouraged to check with the owner of the Spinners for funding.
They need paint and volunteers.
Update on flags program (US flags all up the business end of Bridge St).
Still needs donations.
